Renovation of a basement into two living areas: a wide bookshelf on one side and, on the other, a playroom also designed to serve as an exhibition space for the youngest of the family’s works of art. We were faced with a particularly low ceiling and many exposed foundation structures but we managed to create quite a convivial space evolving around a central volume which integrates at once the staircase, the storage and the audio/video cabinets.
