In order to create a strong architectural gesture underlining the desire for renewal in the programming of the Rideau Vert theater, the façade was partly redesigned to generate a certain interaction between the street and the theater. The old sign was re-materialized with a large neon band, a nod to the old Montreal auditorium signs. The street façade mixes glass panels and lines in transparent polycarbonate honeycomb and LEDs. The idea is to create a play of reflection between passers-by, multiple reflections and green lights. So, the facade thus becomes an element of life in the urban context
